Coalition Supporting Young Adults

The Coalition Supporting Young Adults (CSYA) is a collective impact initiative of community organizations, corporations, civic institutions and individuals who come together to address the needs of youth and young adults in Louisville, Kentucky who are disconnected, out of school and work due to structural racism, poverty, homelessness, educational disruption, childhood trauma, and related challenges.

CSYA consulted with McNary Group to complete a fiscal resource map of programs in Louisville, Kentucky who serve disconnected and system-involved young people (16 to 24 years) as part of a collaborative effort in Louisville. This project gathered data about resources, programs, and funding using a custom survey tool, and sought to identify limitations or restrictions of the identified funding. McNary Group conducted over twenty interviews about organizational financial information and led a national review of similar projects.

This report aims to start a community conversation for funders, decision-makers, organizations, and youth.
