Kentucky Performing Arts

Kentucky Performing Arts (KPA) is the premier cultural organization managing Louisville’s major performance spaces and hosting its nationally renonwed arts scene. Originally dedicated in 1983 as The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, the organization rebranded to Kentucky Performing Arts in 2019 to reflect its growing family of venues across the city. KPA serves as the permanent home for Louisville’s primary resident arts companies, including the Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Ballet, Kentucky Opera, StageOne Family Theatre, and PNC Broadway in Louisville.

McNary Group assessed KPA’s existing youth protection practices and developed a comprehensive, organization-wide Youth Protection Manual covering policies, reporting procedures, codes of conduct, incident processes, and implementation guidance, all aligned with Kentucky law and national best practices. Delivered with a leadership presentation and rollout recommendations.
