Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services

The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) Division of Family Resources and Youth Service Centers (FRYSC) provides administrative support, technical assistance and training to local school-based Family Resource​ and Youth Services Centers (FRYSC). The primary goal of these centers is to remove non-academic barriers to learning as a means to enhance student academic success.

McNary Group contracted with FRYSC to plan and facilitate a strategic planning retreat for staff. The retreat sought to:

  • Draw awareness to FRYSC strengths, challenges, opportunities, and threats
  • Build team cohesiveness
  • Develop a shared understanding of how the Division can support FRYSC Coordinators
  • Generate a streamlined plan for meeting requirements of job duties and responsibilities
  • Renew connection and commitment to FRYSC
